Did you miss me?

Hello my dear friend,

I have been awol for more than a year now. Most of you are probably wondering why am I getting spam emails in my inbox? Don't worry it is not spam and I am better than James Moriarty in the sense that I don't want to kill you.

So, I took a break. A very very very long break, but I am back.

I wrote a lot of articles last year. In a span of 6 months, I wrote more than 140 articles. I did the 30 day writing challenge three or four times, writing more than 20 articles each month.

But then I took a break. This time I had solid reasons for the break because I got married in this break. I don't know where the year went between the wedding arrangements, the actual wedding and post-wedding. It was a chaos and after dealing with so many people and such a big change I needed a time-out.

Also, it was hard to get back to writing after taking such a long break. It took me more than 5 failed tries to finally write something from start to end and hit publish.

Hopefully, you'll be hearing from me again next Friday with more updates on my very boring life.

P.S. I started learning coding :P currently learning front end development :D Look at me using big fancy words...

Here is what I wrote this week on Medium:

I submitted my first article to a publication after eight months.

It Took Me Eight Months to Get Back to Writing

I Earned So Much After Writing 140 Articles in 6 Months

Is It Too Late to Learn To Code?

And, here is what I am reading:

The Invisible Life of Addie LaRue by V.E. Schwab

I am reading this book third time now. I actually wrote an article about it on Medium when I read it for the first time. This is the story of a girl who made a deal with the old gods. She wanted to live forever. The God of Dark grants her this wish but also cursed her to be forgotten by everyone she ever meets- cursed to a long but lonely life. Until she meets a man in a bookstore, 300 years later, who remembers her name.

Have a great weekend!
